okay. i love those stupid bands who take issues like suicide and attempt to narrow them down to a few simple, predictible concepts.
example:
I was watching MuchMusic for a bit today and they played Good Charlotte's "Hold On". The video, with the lead singer wearing eyeliner (why? who are you trying to be? not yourself, surely, you look just a bit too fake for that.), looking with a peripheral sadness at the camera, with periodical inserts of people (oh, they're great.) saying inspirational things like "it's never too late to seek help." "i've been there, i know what you feel like" and best of all, Billy Bob comes on saying "it's just not right for parents to bury their children. it's not the way things are supposed to be."
...or maybe i'm just bitter, and missing the sheer brilliance and inspiration to live a much better life after having watched that video.
